Feedback

Here is the raw feedback my group got from our mentor today when we told him who our second client is: “Astounding opportunity. Dream job. Don’t fuck it up.”

We sure wont!

Final Project

First day back at Hyper Island, and we already got into groups and we got our client. I’m really happy with my group. For the next nine week I’ll be working with Ola Syse, Josue Motta, Sandra Svensson, and Christoffer Erneholm.

The client we got is LOKA, a Swedish sparkling water brand. We will also find a second client by ourselves. But it all feels very good. This will be a great Final Project.

Friday

It’s Friday and this week has gone by so fast. But in a good way. Group4 (my group) has done a fantastic job, and even though we will be working from different places today we all know who is doing what. I think the process follow up we had Wednesday was good for us. Communication is the key.

We knew that, but it can be hard when in a new group where we all communicates in different ways. This wasn’t at all what I was suppose to write about. Yet a good reflection…

World Food Programme

Now module, The Project Life Cycle, just started and I got a new group and a new brief. This time the brief is from a real client and I’m very excited about this. In my group we are six people: Petter Andersson, Lina Säfström, Pelle Kjellqvist, Paweł Zwoliński, Tobias Bergström, and I. And the client we are working with is World Food Programme.

The more research I do the more impressed and amazed I get over the work of WFP, and sad over the whole situation. I realize that there isn’t so much I have to do to actually help, and that makes me want to do more. This is exactly what I’ll be working on for the next three weeks: to make people aware!

Concept Developing part II

Today we had our second meet for concept developing. There has been a few days since we last met, but think it was good for us to kind of drop it and think about it for ourselves. So today Nina, Daniel, and David presented a schedule for the rest of the two weeks and it looked great time wise.

We were all very excited to start even though I felt it was hard not to think about the ideas that were presented last week. We got new groups, just to change it up a little and also this time David had some brainstorming exercises with us. We got to look at all the old ideas as well, and to reflect on them. At 4pm each group had three new concepts and then we split for the day, except for the new concept group where I’m in. The rest of the class went into their old “responsibility” groups to talk.

The concept group split in half to find the three ideas they thought were the strongest. Then the both groups got together and had an open discussion about the thoughts. I am very happy about the group, the ideas, and the outcome so far. But we are about to meet tomorrow again, so until then I wont say anything about the process….

Alexander Gårdenberg, Veronica Wallstrom, Christoffer Erneholm, Daniel Dominguez, and Theo Stråhlén.

This is the group I’m working with now. And I must say it might be the best group I’ve been working with so far. We all know what we are responsible for and we work really well together. We have less then two weeks to finish our product and to prepare for the exhibition that will be in Stockholm October 24th.

Module: Experience Technology

I was really excited when the module Experience Technology started. On Tuesday Petter Warnsberg came to present the module, but we didn’t get our groups until Wednesday. And when I got my group I was even more excited. I’ve been working with Christoffer Erneholm and Theo Stråhlén before and I feel that we have the same goals and passion for what we do. I’ve been wanting to work with Daniel Dominguez and Alexander Gårdenberg, for their knowledge in design, good communication, and presentation skills and now I will.

Everyone is participating, and the level of work is super high and I think this depends on the smaller team building we had on Wednesday. We set the roles and the responsibilities and expectations that came with each role so everyone knows what they are doing.

Today we have been doing some serious idea development and we are so excited of what we can come up with and we all want the best idea there is.

Divided into groups

Today we got our groups that we are working in for the next week and a half. How we got it? First we were walking around to music inside the room, when the music stopped we stopped. Together with the two people closest to me I was then suppose to dance and follow each others moves. After that we were again walking around the room, but now in the groups of three. The last time the music stopped my group got mixed with the closest group of three. And that was our final group for this project.

First project, first group. I’m very excited.
