Here are two motions that Dvein has made. I saw them during the OFFF 2010 presentation and was amazed.

OFFF day #2

This day started off fantastic. Hoss Gifford spoke, and what I thought would be a speech about actionscript 2 it was a speech just filled with inspirational insights. Hoss talked about making mistakes, how and why to pick your battles, peter principle (“in a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.”), to-do lists vs. projects, learn the tools, learn to re-factor, and to make beautiful defaults. Really really great.

OFFF day #1

We woke up at 8am, a little tired after the beers last night. I told you there was a bar downstairs….and Wednesdays is karaoke nights at the club. So we staid up a little longer than we thought we would. Any ways. Woke up at 8am, had breakfast (baguette with nutella) and then we walked over to the La Grande Halle de la Villette. It only took us 15 minutes to walk, perfect. We had to wait in line for about 1h to get our wrist bands, but we got in right when the opening act with Steven Heller started.

In Paris

I’m now in Paris and I have this strange feeling. In a really good way. I’m in great company with some of my class mates, I am super excited about tomorrow when the first day of OFFF2010 is, at the same time I have now idea what to expect. What will I see, hear, and who will I meet?

Summer break

On Monday the whole class shared our projects and insights from this last module when we worked as three agencies. My agency, D3, had a great presentation. Even though we weren’t done with our projects,  the class and both Robin from Britny and Victoria from Hyper seemed pleased with what we said and showed.

It’s fun to see how my portfolio is showing on different sites. Now I saw that it’s also on weloveCSS. Very amusing since this is the first time I ever write CSS, and I can only imagine that it is a real mess. But hey, I learned so much and I’m very happy with it.

The Internet Case Study Book

The Internet Case Study Book came out not to long ago. I tried to order it then but it went out of stock. Hopefully I’m with better luck today, because I just ordered it again. I find it very interesting to read about different cases, to see the thought behind it and to also see the reactions and what happened after.

Folio Focus

I just saw that my portfolio is at Folio Focus. I have no clue how it made it there, so I’m feeling really happy right now.
